Science ambassadors and the Stardome Planetarium

Class: Year 3/4C Mrs Claro Year: 2015 - 2016

We were lucky to have an exciting workshop in the indoor Stardome Planetarium recently. We learned about the star constellations, and many facts about Earth and Space. This experience helped us in our writing for Book Week, which had a space theme. We wrote postcards from space, wrote a letter to Tim Peake and created our own space adventure stories.

The science ambassadors had a special questions and answer session with Martin who owns the Dome-he is an astrophysicist.
