January News letter
January Nursery News
Here we are at the beginning of a new year and a new term. We have lots of exciting things to look forward to this half term… Chinese New Year and Pancake Day. Later this term we will be looking after some eggs in the hope that they hatch into chicks.
Come and See
Over the next few weeks we will be thinking about celebrating. The children will learn about some of the celebrations that take place in church and will visit church to find lots of things that are used in celebrating in church. You could talk to your child about celebrations that you have attended in Church and out. We will be learning the Our Father and listening to the story of the Presentation.
Safeguarding
We are always looking for ways to improve our safeguarding in school and need the cooperation of all adults in this endeavour. This is especially important when the afternoon children are being dropped off at Nursery. We would ask that when you have dropped your child off at Nursery you go straight back out of the gate and not to see other children on the playgrounds. This will ensure that all of our children are safe and happy.
Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
Reading Project
We are very lucky to be involved in this exciting project that will enhance your child’s experience of reading and enjoyment of books. We hope that you will be able to join us for the meetings this Friday and next and will be inspired to take part.
Thank you for your continued support.
