Chicks

Date: 5th Mar 2016 @ 7:57pm

We have had the eggs in the incubator for about 15 days now and the chicks are hopefully developing well. The children are getting excited as we count down the days until they hatch. From the development cards that we have in nursery we think that the chilcks are now developing feathers. We are expecting the eggs  to hatch about 14th March and will be able to keep them for the rest of that week. Lets hope that all 12 of our eggs hatch! Time will only tell.

Horray! the chicks finally arrived, a little later than we thought but the came at last. We have 6 chicks in our incubator, 4 girls and 2 boys. They are cute and fluffy and the children have loved holding them. They will pnly be with us for a few days as they return to the farm on Friday.
