School commissions wood carver, Roy Bouffler to carve a storyteller's chair

Storyteller's Chair

As part of our initiative to improve outdoor learning, we have commissioned Roy Bouffler to carve a storyteller's chair which will be located in the Reception Year 1 play area. Roy has included detailed carvings of characters from children's fiction. We hope that children and adults alike, enjoy many story times when this chair is used to share the enjoyment of books and reading.

Roy is still working on this chair at the pavillion at Victoria Park. We look forward to it coming to Saint Edmund's in the coming weeks.
