Lounge Lizards!

Lesson: Science

Class: Year 3/4C Mrs Claro Year: 2015 - 2016

Monday 19th October

We had some very special guests to our school today!

The children were given an opportunity to handle and find out facts about exotic pets.

We met two corn snakes, who have had 64 babies, watched three lizards have 'a race ' in our Hall and stroked several tortoises!

All the children were very lucky and were given the opportunity to handle lizards and geckos, and some brave children handled pythons and corn snakes. I was delighted to came up close to a parrot who sat on my arm and made lots of strange noises down my ear!

We all settled down after the workshop to create factfiles of these lovely creatures, and the children clearly learned many facts about these animals and their habitats.

Enjoy looking at our photographs!
