Roman Trip to Chester, September 2015
Trip to Chester, September 2015
As part of our Roman topic, Classes 3A, 3/4F and 4S spent a sunny day in Chester last Tuesday.
The children marched around Chester with helmets and shields, and even witnessed a 'gladiator fight' between myself and Mrs Burns (Amelie's Mum)!
The Deva Museum was fascinating, and the children enjoyed seeing what life was like in Roman times, including the Roman baths. The mosiacs and excavations helped us all to appreciate why Chester is such an important town.
The children were impeccably behaved, and thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
Thank you to all the adults who came with us on Tuesday.
Enjoy browsing our photographs of this special trip!
