Science Week, September 2015
Science Week, September 2015 Our Theme: 'Keeping Healthy.'
What an exciting week we have had!
On Tuesday, Mrs Kelly ran a workshop in our class on looking after teeth, Before she worked in our school, Mrs Kelly was a dental technician. She began by showing us some special instruments she used for examining and cleaning teeth. She showed us how to brush our teeth correctly, and what food and drinks can cause damage for our teeth.
Today, we all had a go at brushing our teeth correctly and we all own a brand new toothbrush now! We all counted the number of teeth we have, and created a tally chart and bar graph to show our results.
This afternoon, we all attended a 'Mad Science' Assembly. It was very exciting, and we learned about energy, gravity and how rockets work!
We have learned many new science facts this week, and our lessons have been fun and creative.
Enjoy looking at our photographs!
