Family Learning on Mathematics Year 5 and 6

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Year 5 and 6 would like to invite parents and friends to our ‘Family Learning Afternoon’ on multiplication, linked to the new national standards for numeracy.

Staff and pupils will model strategies and written methods for multiplication. The children will then share ideas and resources, through a maths challenge approach, where you will be invited to participate in the different types of multiplication activities which characterise the ‘Year 5 and 6 phase’.

We hope you take this opportunity to come and join us on the following dates:

Year 5 Thursday 26^th January at 2pm (in hall)

Year 6 Friday 27^th January at 2pm (in hall)
