Year 6S 2018 - 2019

Miss Sharrock

Hello everyone!

Welcome back to this new school year.  yes  It is wonderful to see the children in Year 6 looking so smart and keen for the year ahead.

We have yet to sort timetables for PE and after school clubs, but as soon as we have this information, I will share it with you.

Homework will be given out for this weekend, and on each following Friday - to be collected in on a Wednesday. Can I please ask that you glance over your child's homeowrk book to ensure that they are putting maxiumum effort in, thank you.

As always, reading plays such an important part of your child's education. enlightened  We expect each child to be reading for at least 20 minutes at home each day.  We will be following the accelerated reading scheme again this year, and the pupils are eager to make it to the 'Golden Club'.smiley

Attendance and punctuality are really important, more so in this final year of primary school.  I really appreciate your help in getting your children to school each day and on time.

I am always on the yard at home time if you ever want a quick word, please feel free to come and say hello.

That's all for now,

have a great Year 6 everyone!
