Inspired by the teachings of Christ, St Edmund's and St Thomas' Catholic Primary school encourages and guides our pupils and all our school community to have a strong sense of service, love and compassion. Welcome to our class page!
Welcome to our class page!
I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and Happy New Year. Not the start we were looking for but we did it once and we can do it again! I have put some activities up for Wednesday 6th January. Also remember to do daily reading for 30 minutes using Myon or own reading books then complete quiz on REN learn. You always have TTRS, Numbots and Education City if you have time too.
Here is some important information for our class...
- Our class starts at 9am and finishes at 3pm. Drop off and pick up are at the usual junior gate. Please be prompt as gate are closed when our class have gone in.
- PE days are Tuesday and Thursday. The children will not be getting changed for PE. Children are welcome to come to school in their PE kit or just wear their trainers on that day. All PE will be outside so as the weather gets cooler remember to wear a tracksuit.
- All children should bring a water bottle (clearly labelled with their name) to school to keep on their desk. If your child has packed lunch please remember to ensure that they are able to open everything themselves and that grapes and cherry tomatoes need to be cut in half. This is for safety reasons.
- Children don't need to bring any extra equipment to school with them as we are providing everything they need in class.
- If you need to speak to me regarding any concerns or to give me important information please phone the office and they will pass the message onto me.
- Homework will be given on Education City. Also, please make regular use of Timetables Rockstars and Numbots.
- We will have a weekly spelling test on a Friday; these will be from the Y3/4 spelling list and will be given out the week before the test.
- Children should be doing at least 15 minutes reading at home each night.
* We have started our reading scheme again - and you can log on at home to do quizzes. Please visit - https://ukhosted78.renlearn.co.uk/2243098/
Thank you for your great attendance so far this term boys and girls. You have all worked very hard for me - keep it up!
